I recorded the noise of a mac donald's restaurant, you can hear machines in their kitchens, a few steps, something is thrown in the trash. There are few people in this restaurant, i am almost alone in this part of the restaurant. + airing noises.

I put a toothbrush inside if a toilet roll and spun the roll on the tooth brush. This was recorded at the open window institute sound booth in centurion, south africa.

Recorded with zoom h4n. Hi cut filter and denoising applied to taste.

A recording of the environment near the riverbank outside my kitchen window while the sun is setting; you can hear dogs barking in the distance, light traffic passing by, and beautiful birdsongs. I recorded this with the built-in microphone of a lenovo mini-laptop.

A container of beef broth being shaken approximately once per second. Splashing, gurgling, gulping sounds prominent. Recorded using a tascam dr-40x.

Dropping baby carrots into a ceramic bowl from a short height. Recorded with my lumix g7 camera with rode video micro attached to it.

This recording was made in the path of totality of the august 21st 2017 eclipse, in the woods surrounding devil's kitchen lake in southern illinois. It's a stereo extract from a longer, 88 minute b format recording. The purpose of making the recording was to see how the eclipse affected the sounds produced by insects and birds. In this extract, totality occurs exactly 10:00 minutes in; and ends at exactly 12:38. This mirrors the time totality occurred at devil's kitchen lake: from 1:20:27pm to 1:23:05pm central time.
